“Seventh Sign” is one of the more popular tunes of Ron’s. It has been performed by Stan Getz, Ira Sullivan, Joe Diorio and Pat Metheny to name a few and has also been recorded by Danny Gottlieb on the CD Brooklyn Blues which features John Abercrombie, Gil Goldstein and Jeremy Steig. A big band arrangement by the composer is found on a recording by the University of Miami Concert Jazz Band, aptly titled Seventh Sign. Another version of “Seventh Sign” is found on the Stan Samole recording, America.
